David Ondráčka specializes in the issues of political corruption, public procurement and investments as well as the reform of public administration and public policy. He works as an expert and consultant for international institutions and organizations in many countries ranging from Europe and the Caucasus to Mongolia. He gives lectures on related topics at Czech universities (Charles University and Metropolitan University in Prague, Masaryk University in Brno). In 2009, he received the Alice Garrigue Masaryk award for his activities. He has been employed by TI since 2001, and was appointed its director in January 2008; before that, he used to work in public administration.
