Jakub Klouzal is a whistleblower in the case of uneconomical management of state funds at the ICT department of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He claims to have saved CZK 1.2 billion from the state budget. Due to his actions, he was facing threats and psychological harassment and eventually resigned from his post. Jakub Klouzal has a degree in economics and information technology. He currently works as an expert in IT security, IT architecture and Enterprise architecture. He is also investigating other cases in which public money is being funnelled through ICT technology and service contracts.
He has received the Prize for Courage from the Anticorruption Endowment.
